John Scott - Cement Process Specialist

John Scott is a chemical engineer with over 35 years’ experience in the cement industry in technical, production and management roles. He has considerable plant operational and quality control knowledge in all aspects of the cement manufacturing process, including implementation of alternative fuel projects. His experience extends to the manufacture of white cement, having spent several years as Plant Technical Manager on a large white cement plant.

John has been extensively involved in plant commissioning, gaining hands on experience in the start up of six large modern cement plants.  He has provided advice on many occasions to clients seeking to uprate the performance of their cement plants.
